Upcycle Furoshiki Project

This Earth Day, I’m starting a small upcycle project with Nickel Refillery.
Instead of buying new fabric, I’ll be turning donated textile items from our community into furoshiki, reusable cloth for gift wrapping, carrying, and everyday use.
If you have clean textiles you no longer use, I’d love to give them a second life.
Materials that work best (easy for tying knots):
• Duvet covers
• Bedsheets / flat sheets
• Fitted sheets
• Pillowcases
• Lightweight tablecloths
• Men’s cotton dress shirts
• Scarves or sarongs
• Baby muslin swaddle blankets
• Dress / Long skirts
• Lightweight curtains
Even if there are small stains, feel free to donate them, I can often cover them with my hand-printed designs and transform them into something beautiful again.
You can drop them off at @nickelrefillery

Thank you for supporting creativity, sustainability, and community. It truly means so much to me.Watch Instagram post : April 22, 2026
